Biography
Role:Scavenger
Aceso came into the clan as a young adult and was welcomed into it's small cozy lair with open arms. She is one of the great beauties of the clan, her dark coloration contrasting against the pastels of many of her clan mates. However, she acts as though her unique beauty is her most defining feature and expects other dragons to treat her differently because of it. She is, to be blunt, an extremely vain dragon. When she was mated to Blackberry, she often neglected her clutch and expected him to take care of the hatchlings, which perhaps allowed him the time to make preparations for three of his children to leave to another clan or, in Winter's case, to serve the GladeKeeper. Aceso loathes her former mate for taking her children away to this very day, and often picks fights with him. Lingonberry has to constantly keep her speckled clan mate in line. She has since had three more children with Blueberry, and did truly feel affection for the guardian. Their union fell apart after her children with him left them, though. Despite not having the makings for a mother, Aceso wants to have hatchlings to raise more than anything else in the world.
Personality: As previously stated, Aceso is a very vain dragon. She values beauty-- specifically her beauty-- and will be openly cruel towards she feels don't match up to her idea of perfection. She is also a bit of a Kleptomaniac and will steal anything she feels would look better on her. For example, the scarf she wears around her neck everyday. She stole that from an imperial ice dragon that happened to be passing through. This kepltomania does aid her in her role in the clan, though. As a scavenger, she should be able to quickly snatch things with her claws. To adult dragons, Aceso is truly troublesome. But to the little ones, the tempermental and vain fae is wonderful and doting. She loves hatchlings.
Relationships
Carmine Serthis- Carmin and Aceso have a rather strained relationship, especially for dragons and familiars. Aceso tends to steal things from her serpentine friend, and obviously, she doesn't appreciate it very much. However, the two have been together since Carmin was a small serthis and Aceso was just a hatchling, so the two are still rather attached to one another. Aceso actually saved Carmin from being killed by an adult dragon from her old clan, and that's how the two met and is also why they are so closely bonded.
Maquiberry- Aceso's only child remaining in the clan. Mother and son aren't very close, although Aceso works very actively to change that. She loves her child passionately and wants to be in every aspect of his life. Understandably, this overwhelms Maquiberry, so he pushes her away... and thus the cycle continues. He does love his mother very much, though, and would defend her with his dying breath if someone were to slander her.
Blackberry- Aceso's first mate and current archenemy. She hates him for sending away her precious children, despite that hatchlings often are sent off to other clans or into the service of the reigning deity. The pair bicker quite often, and it usually takes Lingonberry or Pomegranate to break the two apart.
Blueberry- Aceso's second mate. She really did like Blueberry a lot, but there are too many things different between the two that did not offset them well. Their union ended on good terms, but the pair tend to avoid each other when they can. He's probably the only dragon she hasn't stolen something from, though, and that says a lot.
Lingonberry- Aceso's """babysitter""" who tends to break up the fights between her and Blackberry. They have a pretty good relationship.
Dahlia- Aceso despises the Plague ambassador, because she feels that the imperial challenges her spot as the most beautiful. Dahlia really pays the Fae no mind, and often jests to her mats, Shamrock, that she'll simply sit on Aceso should the Fae become a problem.
Acanthus- This newcomer rather intrigues Aceso. She finds him very handsome and mysterious, but he (like most) finds her troublesome, especially since she can often be caught trying to steal gems from the vault. Aceso does hope she can become vveerryy close to this new Wildclaw in due time...
