As a hatchling, Simon always found interest in the ailments of his clan and caused by his homeland. He grew listening to stories from the clan elders about mysterious sicknesses and dangerous flora and fauna and vowed to learn everything he could about them. When he happened upon his prize possession, a plague runestone, he believed it to be a boon from the Plaguebringer herself in support of his mission.

Quiet and reserved, Simon is not one to seek out confrontation or speak first in a disagreement. Instead, he prefers to sit back and gather information on his surroundings, taking in even the smallest detail. To Simon, even the most minute of details can prove important in making decisions or judgements. This comes in handy for his chosen trade, as many dragons tend to leave out details when describing old illnesses that had long passed over their clans.

Runestone in hand, Simon set out to explore the lands of Sornieth, vowing to learn everything he could about the various ailments that plagued dragonkind. Whether this information would be used for ill or good, he had not yet decided.
