A large, burly Tundra stands behind the counter of the tavern, polishing a clean glass while whistling a pleasant tune. He seems a warm, friendly fellow, and if you step up to the bar, he’s sure to offer a drink and a friendly tale or two.

Before inheriting the tavern, called the Bashful Badger, from his predecessor, Stormtail, Rubyshimmer was a mercenary and adventurer. He traveled around Sornieth, selling his skill with a sword and finding new friends in the strangest places. Eventually, he grew tired of the lifestyle and decided to settle down. He got in contact with his old friend, Stormtail, and started working in the older Tundra’s bar in exchange for room and board.

When Stormtail finally decided to retire, he passed on his beloved tavern to Rubyshimmer. It was an honor, and not something that Ruby took lightly. The friendly Tundra takes good care of the tavern and its customers. He’s well-known around the clan for his excellent taste in alcoholic beverages, and is always willing to listen to customers when they’re having problems. Rubyshimmer is also happy to give advice to anyone who needs it.

Although Ruby doesn’t have a mate of his own yet, he’s certainly a fan favorite among the other single dragons in the clan. His deep, melodious voice and friendly disposition make him a very attractive candidate for any dragon looking for a possible mate. Although he hasn’t chosen anyone yet, he likely will soon. Ruby would love to have some hatchlings of his own to inherit his tavern when he retires.
