Canker was hatched from an egg that had gone untended for too long; by the time the egg was found a colony of mushrooms had foisted themselves upon it. She hatched with these spores embedded in her skin. To this day none are sure where she begins and the fungal outcroppings end. Some question if she is truly even a dragon at all due to her mannerisms.

She grows and harvests mushrooms for the food stores of the clan. While most dragons would be bored she contentedly spends most of her hours cultivating the spores or sleeping among them when she gets tired.
