Illima
(Ih-lee-mah) (AKA Lily)

Former home: A certain Lightning Clan...
Position: Quiet wife: Illima was never much of a talker, even before she became Amerlin's mate. She traveled with him to their new home and enjoys it there even more than he does. The giant has become a gentle friend to the clan leader's equally giant companion.
Relationships
Parents: (Amtripine & Lia): Illima's parents are militant followers of the Stormcatcher who love their children equally, whether they choose exaltation or not. Illima gets along with them just fine.
Siblings:
(All): As many of Illima's siblings have gone into service to their deity, she does not have a very close connection to them. There is one exception to this rule.
(Luppia): One of Illima's few, if not only, sisters who has not joined the ranks of her militant siblings. Though her older sister is hardly social, Illima knows how to speak with her and make her open up.
Mate:(Amerlin): Illima's childhood friend later became her mate. Though she noticed his romantic interest in her since they were young teens, she wasn't convinced about him until he showed the courage to confess his love. She has not had a wavering doubt in her mind towards him since that day.
Offspring:
(Biological): Though Illima and Amerlin do not yet have any hatchlings of their own, it's only a matter of time until they do.
(Samedi): Illima's mother-in-law sent the couple a Plague Egg as a wedding gift, and Samedi was born as a result. The adopted child was taken under large and motherly wings. Illima loves her as much as anything in the world.
Friends:
(All): Due to her own quiet nature, gained from time spent with Luppia, Illima didn't have the same wide circle of friends that Amerlin had, and thus left little else than her family when she departed for Wind. Due to her size, she became fast friends with Indra.
Familiar:
(Orbiting Spirit): A graceful fishy that she has named Diadem.
Story
I'll Follow You to the Ends of Sornieth...
The daughter of an old family in Lightning Flight who have served the Stormcatcher for longer than any can remember. Illima was born with the understanding that she, like all her siblings before and after her, would train with the clan's Coliseum masters and one day travel to their deity's headquarters to serve as exalted devotees. She watched one sibling after another walk down this path, training and leaving home. It was a sparse life, with a sparse future. And it wasn't what Illima wanted.
Politely declining the path that her family laid out for her, Illima made herself useful in whichever other ways she could - helping to train exaltees, tending the wounds of returning trainers, breaking down and converting food from the Coliseum - all while keeping one eye on the lanky son of the clan's prized trainer. She knew how the Spiral felt about her, and if he could prove he had the courage to confess, she'd feel the same.
Once Illima and Amerlin became mates, Illima was more than happy to start over with a new life in Wind. She loves her family dearly, but she needs her own space, and her own life.

Valued Possessions: Illima traveled to Wind with nothing. She lived a Spartan life in Lightning with few permanent possessions, and seemed to have little preference for temporal things. Amerlin, however, does not share this mindset, and has ensured since their move that his mate has all the decadence necessary for a nobless.
Habits: She often ferries her tiny mate around on her head, and finds it cute that he lets her. Somehow she's extremely easy to lose track of, despite her towering size.
