Durga serves the clan by earning treasure for the wares she creates. Using the jewels, gems, and minerals that her mate, Kamal, brings to her, she crafts skillfully made jewelry with intricate, unique designs and sells them. While she used to travel the world to make sales, she now hands the pieces off to the merchants and peacekeepers in the clan so that she can stay in the lair to care for her hatchlings.
Durga's life began in the cold, iron-hearted expanse of the Southern Icefield. There, she learned that she needed to fight to survive, and as much as she hated the idea, she built her life around that simple principle. When she learned the craft of jewel and metalsmithing she began to travel the world - always moving, always haggling, always fighting. It wasn't until she met Kamal that she even considered settling down with a clan, but when she did make the choice, she was very happy. She no longer has to worry about fending for herself and can instead focus on her crafting. She enjoys keeping the occasional piece for herself so that she can treasure her favourite gifts from Kamal.
