Chapter 2:

"Tiaka, please come here," the White Dragon gently spoke, "I need you to attend to my wishes."

"I am here, honoured elder. I live to serve," the young dragon responded, slowly bobbing her head.

"No need to be so formal, dear heart," the old wyrm smiled, "You have been like a daughter to me and a blessing to our clan." The White Dragon gently scratched the young dragon's head behind her ear, "but your future is elsewhere."

"Have I done something wrong, grandmother?" Tiaka asked, panicking.

"Not at all, my dear," a sad smile crossed the White Dragon's face, "you are the Key to my heart, but someone is coming who will eventually hold yours."
