A loyal friend of Mae and Kree even before the clan was formed, Kilo - along with Sierra and Temeraire - was the first to join under the Merry Going Spark's banner. Having the most battle experience, a mind for strategy, and a strict code of honor, it was unanimously agreed that he would be the clan's Captain of the Guard. Thus, Kilo is in charge of the Clan's defense, as well as the recruitment and training of other guards. The clan's rangers also report to him anything of note from their patrols of the wilds of other regions.

Currently the guard consists of mostly Wildclaws and Ridgebacks, with a some Guardians and a couple of Imperials, and though many have challenged Kilo for his position he remains undefeated. Since Mae's transformation into a Wildclaw, he has been the one to primarily help her adjust by re-training her in communication and combat.

Kilo and Star are mates for life, though they both mutually and consensually pair with other dragons from time to time. Blue is the only offspring of Kilo's to stay with the clan (so far). The storm coated Wildclaw is proud of his son's dedication in training to become a member of the guard, and privately hopes he will be the one to take his place one day.
