Grey Oracle
Farran was invited to join the Stelaris clan as a result of an overcrowded nest. His home doesn't have enough room for this little hatchling, so Laellar offered him a home here. The two older Skydancers, Silver and Calypso, have unofficially adopted Farran as his surrogate parents.
Even though he's only a few days old, Farran has already begun bonding closely with one of the clan familiars, a Smoke Gyre. The Nocturne Marina hasn't said anything yet, but she has caught Farran looking at his reflection on several occasions, and suspects he chose the Gyre because its colors are as drab as his own.
No one is quite sure where the power comes from; Farran is of the Shadow Flight, and none of his ancestors (as far as he is aware) were from Water. But somehow he has the power to see glimpses of what is yet to come, be it reflected in the water or shining in crystal. Farran is nearly blind normally, but he sees more than most, whether through his other senses or glimpses of what is to come. Aered and Laellar do not seek him out, but they know that if he sees something that will affect the clan, he will come to them.
Prophecy is not always a gift; Farran sometimes glimpses terrible things to come, or sees too deep into someone's self for their liking. He did not naturally go blind. A certain dragon he met was not pleased with what Farran saw in his future. He has been far more cautious since about who he shares his visions with, but he refuses to lie or hide what must be known.
