Shirazu
"If the lion were advised by the fox he would be cunning."

Personality:Shirazu is an exceptionally cunning young dragon, even Steerpike acknowledges him as the best strategic mind in the clan without question. Most of the Dreaming Ones feel they are fortunate to have the charismatic Imperial in their midst. He loves to turn on the charm for everyone too, flattery is his forte, though in the same token so is brutal honesty when need be. An insult from Shirazu can be devastating as it will always ring true. He's quite vain, sometimes a bit shallow, and more than a little self-serving. In the end he's really only out for what's good for him, fortunately for now, what's good for him happens to correspond with the good of the clan as a whole.

Bio:Shirazu began wandering hither and thither quite early in life, indeed for much of his young life he couldn't sit still. Though he never left the Tangled Wood and never settled down with a clan besides that of his birth, he was always searching for some new entertainment. Then one evening he happened upon one of Lysander and Viola's shows. Lys was in rare form that night and the showy dragon easily made a lasting impression on the adolescent Shirazu. However the troupe left for other lands before the young Imperial could find out much about them. Shirazu wasn't easily dissuaded however, he patiently waited for their return and a year later they did just that. This time Shirazu purposefully made himself noticeable and he was rewarded. After the show Lys personally sought him out. After they talked for a bit the Coatl suggested that Shirazu come with them to the Dreaming Ones home. Intrigued, Shirazu accepted.
The moment they first arrived Steerpike took an immediate dislike to the crimson Imperial, which wouldn't have been too unusual except this dislike manifested as fear and avoidance rather then outright rage and growling. Still he ended up asking Shirazu to stay once he discovered the young dragon's talent for strategy.
Shirazu has only grown closer to Lysander and Viola, he and Lys have an almost brotherly relationship, and Viola often treats him like a son.
Juniper has some sort of fascination with him, whether of friendly intent or jealousy he can often be witnessed following Shirazu around at a distance. Occasionally, if in the right mood, the Spiral is a good friend of Shirazu's otherwise it almost seems as if they don't know each other at all.
Zdzislaw seems to enjoy attempting to prank the Imperial quite a lot. He only rarely truly succeeds, out strategizing the strategist is about as difficult as one might expect.
Morgan has been desperately trying to get Shirazu to join her rebellious faction, but the Imperial has no interest. There's nothing of any worth in it for him.
A young daughter has recently become part of Shirazu's life and at first he wasn't certain how to react to this, eventually he did warm up to her, but more as a brotherly figure than a fatherly one. He is content to allow Lys and Viola to raise her and, indeed, believes this to be far better for her.
