Having been brought into the clan as but a basic Guardian not long after her birth, Cifer was soon made to match Aizen's plans and was declared to be Ulquiorra's mate, which was also when she was given her name as well. She didn't mind this, especially since her Guardian instincts had also come to mark her new mate as her charge, so this was more of an advantage than a disadvantage for her.

Like her mate, Cifer's eyes are superior to majority of the rest of the clan's members', but she acknowledges that they are not quite as keen as her mate's. When spoken to about abstract ideas, she seems to respond quite similarly to her mate. While he is out in the coliseum, Cifer seems to stand in for him as the eyes of the clan, her matching green eyes watching everything while she waits patiently for his return. Despite her youth, she has shown great patience and observation skills.
During the day, Cifer seems to be quite inactive, much like Ulquiorra, and prefers going out with him at night. She prefers to stay near the lair as well, mostly interacting with just Ulquiorra and Yammy. When there are hatchlings in the lair, she tends to not pay them much attention unless she is the only one around to do so, watching them to make sure nothing bad happens to or because of them.
One of the greatest differences between her and her mate is that her loyalty is not wholly sworn to Aizen, but is instead toward her mate and charge, thus leading her to seem to hold loyalty to Aizen as well.
