______ The firstborn of Green, the Watcher.

______ Spell was raised and mentored in magical matters by Pix, and displayed a great natural talent at a young age. Her father, as with all of his children, did not show any interest in her upbringing; although, unlike Arantha, Spell at least has the luxury of knowing who her father is. Viola, her mother, didn't take much of an interest in her upbringing, not until Pix battled her and put fear in her.

______ As a socially anxious dragon, Spell isn't distant by choice, not by any means. The only dragon she might be able to call a friend is Star, the friendly aspiring Bogsneak witch who can never seem to leave her alone. It is something that has kept her up at night, just thinking and thinking about it, because thinking is all Spell ever does. Spell can't really vocalise her thoughts and feelings well, but she wish she could tell Star how much she appreciates how, even though so many others are afraid of her and have given up on her, the kind Bogsneak has never once faltered or even been irritated with Spell's lack of reception to the emotions and friendliness of others.

______ Spell can see how much Star tries with her magic; it is clear that she is a dragon who isn't naturally in-tune with the arcane like Skydancers are, but oh god, does she try, and it is obvious she has achieved a truly admirable level of competence through sheer force of will alone. Lately, although it makes her heart hammer in her chest to even think of it let alone do so, Spell has been trying to help Star with the higher-level spells she's never been able to cast before. Star's pure, unadulterated happiness at Spell finally reciprocating something makes Spell feel warm inside.

______ Under Murmur's rule, Spell has been given the official task of maintaining Amaranth's magical defensive perimeters, alongside Pix, Star, and Pelagia.
