Otora doesn't admit to getting lost, and she would certainly never admit that she gets lost on a regular basis. When she was little, she just wandered away, Ili in tow and staff in hand. And for a long time, that's what Otora did - wander and familiarize herself with her surroundings all across Sorneith. Now, years later and miles further, she uses that knowledge to guide herself, her clan, and her clients to whatever destination is needed. Sometimes Otora makes and sells maps when she can, but she doesn't like to sell things that aren't perfect, and perfect is hard to get from memory.

Throughout her travels, Otora has met with every sort of person. Sometimes Otora is considered abrasive but to people with similar interests, she can be a glorious friend. There have been some in the past who managed to be even more than just friends, but that time has passed. In any case, Otora knows what she likes in a person and what she doesn't like at all.
