Sentry aloof ~ ferocious ~ solitary 
Best for him to be alone. He knows it as well as the rest of them do. So regardless of where his route runs, he does not complain. Whether his patrol takes him along the furthest reaches of the realm or straight through the bustling heart of the territory, he remains steely-eyed and unperturbed, the calm even keel in his eyes seemingly daring anyone to challenge him or his ability. When the assignment of routes ends, he merely lifts his head, stares off into the distance, and then disappears off.
He sets his mind to his tasks with almost unsettling single mindedness, and although this devotion has forged him into only the best of guards, sharp teeth and sharp claws along a twisting and perilous path, it has nevertheless left room for little else. He does not mind it, he will reply flatly to anyone courageous enough to speak their mind to him. Most of the time, he truly believes that he was always meant to become this kind of singular creature. Sometimes, though, the nights are dark on the shattered plain, and he is left staring out into the twinkling sky full of stars, into a world that holds no love for him. He reminds himself that he comes from a singular, solitary breed, a bloodline so strong that it has overcome millennia. It is little comfort. Although he shrouds himself in an air of peril and secrecy, he is not foolish enough to think that he ought to go about all of this alone. The question is, of course, whom he would ever do it with.

Botanically, Deinacanthon is a genus that contains one species, nicknamed "Terrible Flower." the terrible flower plant is a type of bromeliad that lives in extremely harsh environments, protecting its foliage with spines. Its flower opens very rarely, and releases a putrid odor that attracts flies for pollination.
