Terra

Terra isn't very organized. She keeps her documents and extra materials away from her experiments (wouldn't want to ruin them with an explosion or weird goo), but the area she keeps those things is very messy. Nothing is properly labelled or organized in a logical manner; documents are strewn across the floor and materials are placed in random containers on random shelves. Despite this she seems to know exactly where everything is and how to find it, so maybe there is some method to her madness?

Terra is a dragon who has insomnia, due to spending too many hours around chemicals and alchemy, which fills her nostrils with the noxious scents while it also fills her ears with strangle gurglings and pops of her experiments. One sleepless night, she decided to take a small flight around the clan's border to try to make herself feel sleepy. Slowly walking out from her den, she finds a small blue Coatl outside of the clan's entrance.She was confused because usually she only finds a select few for staying up so late in the night. She told herself to ask why she was up so late but she didn't want to spook the Coatl, since she knew the Coatl tries very hard to keep herself from socializing when ever she could. Terra threw herself behind a huge rock formation only a few feet away from the clan's entrance. She then slowly peeked her head over the rocks and her eyes soften. She never really knew how beautiful the Coatl was, her face was clearly seen, the soft pale moonlight kissing her soft pale green eyes. Terra then heard a gift from the gods escaping her vocal cords. Terra's eyes began drooping instantly, her body starting to shake from her already weak legs, turning into jelly as she heard her song. Terra closed her eyes, and from there, she could not remember what happened.

She wakes up to a den that wasn't her own. It was covered in potted plants and smelt lovely rather then her chemicals of alchemy. Her eyes blink as she makes out the small head of the Coatl from the other night. She immediately tries to sit up but her body is so weak, it doesn't budge. " Uhm.. I heard you fall onto the ground the other night and didn't know what to do so I put you in my den.. I hope you don't mind the plants.. " The small Coatl then turns away, looking at one of the plants beside the nest. " Uhm.. did you hear me.. singing..?" Terra could't lie to her, the Coatl was already embarrassed with herself for having to have a strange dragon she barely even knows besides knowing her as a clan mate in her personal den. " Er.. Yes but-" The Coatl turned around with small tears forming. " I- I'm so sorry, I was only doing it to remember someone important to me.. I know its terrible but-" Terra couldn't believe her ears, hearing this nonsense from her, she lifted herself up and pressed her muzzle into the side of her wing. " Your voice is beautiful.. I shouldn't have scared you, I was just confused why someone like you would be awake this time of night.. usually its me and a few others that are up that late. " The Coatl became stiff with Terra's gesture, her face becoming blank with expression. Realizing that she may have scared her, Terra backed away, slightly blushing. " Im sorry if I startled you.. but Im speaking the truth about your voice.. Don't ever talk badly about it, ever " Terra gives a soft yawn, stretching her wing to the side. The Coatl, turning around to face her, gives a small question for Terra, her eyes piercing into her own. " Were you following me that whole time..?"
"W- wha?? No I was just trying to-" The Coatl slowly inched forward, her eye glistening. " Why were you following me..? " Terra folded back her wings and looked to the floor. " I wasn't following you.. I wanted to ask you why you were up so late since I never saw you up those late hours of the night.. but I didn't want to scare you because I knew you didn't like talking to a lot of dragons.. and I wasn't intentionally following you, I was going to have a late flight to try and make me feel sleepy since I have insomnia, I can't sleep when it acts up.. Look, Im sorry.. er.. I still don't know your name.." The Coatl gave a very small smile before softly saying, " My name is Songbird and.. Im sorry for falsely accusing you of following me. " Terra returned a smile back at Songbird. " You're apologizing to me? You didn't do anyth-" Songbird cut her off by saying, " So.. you have insomnia.. and my singing made you fall asleep so easily..?" "Well.. Yes-" "Then I give you permission to ask me to sing to you but only because you can't sleep.. okay..?" Terra eyes brightened and stood up, resting her head on top of Songbird's. " Thank you, Songbird!! Thank you!!"

From there, they talked about their interests and what they do, Terra being the clan's Alchemist, explained all the tips and tricks you could know about alchemy while Songbird, being the clan's familiar caretaker, told her the ups and down's of how hard it is to take care of extra familiars. Songbird also told Terra about plants and her ability to use Nature magic despite her being born in the wind flight. and from the time they met and the time Songbird got use to Terra and her need to be around each other, Songbird surprising asked Terra to be together, saying how she always drifts towards her, thinking about her every time she studies and helps the extra familiars, Terra pops into her head. Terra admitted to her feelings as well and became a couple.
