Andromeda

EARLY LIFE} Clans do not come from nothing, and Andromeda knew this the moment she arrived on the outskirts of the Crystalspine Reaches. She and her first mate, Xenophon, carved out a space for themselves and their earliest clanmates, intending to grow a loving and welcoming community of dragons together. However, disaster struck the regent couple early on: their first nest was ravaged by the Beastclans, and the triplet hatchlings died before she could even give them names. Xenophon was driven mad by grief, and died himself soon after. Andromeda held strong through all this hardship, knowing that the greater good of the clan was more important than her own suffering.

CAREER} As the matriarch of the clan, she never let any obstacle deter her as she led the growing clan from the Reaches through the Starwood Strand and all the way to the Focal Point. Along the way, she watched many of her friends and loved ones come, grow, and die under her protection. She held her responsibilities to the clan above all things, taking a mate only twice after Xenophon's passing. She even trained with Phoinix so that she would have some means to defend her clan in battle. After some time, however, her ghosts caught up to her. The Starfall Isles were haunted by too many memories: it was time for a change of scenery. While it was primarily her idea to relocate the clan across the border into the Scarred Wasteland, none of the other Founders objected to the change or questioned her decision.

PERSONALITY} A powerful, independent leader, she is a diplomat with little else on her mind but the good of the community she fosters. Her motherly instincts have mostly been worn away (leave the coddling to Ismene), but she does still care deeply about the youngsters of the clan. Surprisingly, her primary insecurity is vanity. She privately compares herself to others and worries that she doesn't look the part of a queen, so she has used magic to make her appearance more striking and often wears a cowl to hide her common pink Arcane eyes.

MATES} Xenophon (deceased), a mirror who helped Andromeda establish the clan but died in a tragic turn of events shortly after; Arkyn (deceased), a fae whom she connected with but could never commit to because of her duties as matriarch; Josh, the guardian with whom she had a brief and relatively meaningless tryst.
