Hearth

Born to a clan that only wished to use him to grow more powerful, Hearth founded the clan Hearthhold mostly on accident when he found this quiet, fertile area within the Starwood Strand along with fellow deserter and friend Frigg. Artfully skilled with Arcane magic, not only does he work as the clan's leader, but he provides the majority of healing aid for those that need it. He can also regularly be found hunting and scavenging with Frigg and Frey to find items and resources for the alchemists and other magic-workers of the clan. When first settling into the Starwood Strand, he knew he was probably violating the territories of nearby Beastclans, and so sought them out to work out negotiations to allow him and Frigg to stay and live peacefully. The Beastclans, surprised by his willingness for diplomacy, allowed it, but kept a watchful eye on him, until eventually the whole clan proved themselves. Presently, Hearthhold is nearly half Beastclan members and is considered a traveling destination for some Beastclans who know they and their wares will be accepted.

Hearth is small, even for a Fae. He is considered by most of the clan as a comforting familial figure rather than a strict ruler. He is very nervous and overcautious, and communicates primarily in sign. He is married to Blitz, and considers Frigg and Marzie to be his closest friends. He can usually be found helping to tend to the gardens, doing routine walks and chats with other clan members, or holed up in the library as he tries to become fluent in the languages of the nearby Beastclans.
