Hearthhold is a large and wealthy trading town inhabited equally by Beastclan and dragonkind. Hearth, the appointed leader and namesake of the territory, is never bored between meeting with the Representatives, healing those coming back from hunting or scavenging missions, and fending off Shade incursions. The clan is largely communal, with nearly all activities beside sleeping being done outside the home and all individuals willing and happy to share what they have, be it knowledge, money, or items, with each other.
