Rogue suffers from retrograde amnesia. After he had a terrible accident involving other dragons mauling him, he stumbled into a random lair and begged for assistance. After waking up, the last thing he could remember was stumbling into the lair. Old scars littered his body, layered with fresher scratches and other wounds. The lair he collapsed in quickly decided to help him, and took him into their arms despite knowing absolutely nothing about him.

After healing his major wounds, he began to work around the lair instead of sit around all day. He found out in a short amount of time that he seemed to be capable of almost any type of task. He couldn't remember how or why he knew how to do these things; he just knew that he could.
