Intense/Aloof/Cautious

Zephyr is the Clan Founder of the Gossamer Breeze. Although she was born a Guardian, she never felt the inevitable, internal pull to find her charge. As a hatchling, she waited expectantly to feel that longing all Guardians will someday discover, but as she watched her friends and neighbors grow and leave the clan to Guard, she found herself alone, waiting for a feeling that would never come.

Dejected and full of self-pity, Zephyr set out on the Steppes alone, hopeful that if she only wandered far and long enough, she might find something worth Guarding. Instead, she found dragons willing to guard her. Now she lives free as the wind, without the chains of responsibility and shame that weighed her down as a Guardian.
