Nobody knows where Dragoon managed to find Agony, or why he brought him to the clan. They just know that it's better not to question it and leave the Spiral be. They also know that Agony is completely loyal to the clan and its members, and he will do whatever it takes to protect them from any threat. Some people say they'll fight to the death, but Agony won't even die until the clan is safe. In fact, he just won't die period. He's sustained a huge number of mortal injuries- including the one he had the night he was brought to the clan- and has always pulled through, somehow. But again, everyone knows better than to question it. Most days, when there's nothing to fight, he patrols the clan and checks on his clan mates, providing help if they need anything. He visits everyone quite often each day. He's one of the clan's Seven Pillars, as the self-appointed guardian/watchman of the clan. There are other protectors of the clan, of course, but very few have the immortality of Agony or his complete, utter and focused determination. Everyone in the clan, bar Dragoon, is scared of or at least thoroughly intimidated by Agony. Even the hardcore, more stoic dragons become more timid when the Spiral approaches. After all, he's proven his power time and time again, tearing foes to shreds with his claws, teeth and Plague magic. His perpetual silence and poker face alone projects a strange, menacing aura. This dragon never talks and he rarely ever expresses himself. So, uh, yeah, it's no wonder that everybody keeps to themselves when it comes to Agony. But when the curtain falls and the day comes to an end, they're reminded that he's a dragon just like them. He eats, drinks and sleeps. Though he sleeps outside, on top of the cave they've made their lair, nobody doubts for a minute that it's just so he can keep an eye on everything and warn someone if there's an approaching threat. There are even times during the day or evening where he's wandering around, but he looks unsure. Lost, even. When this happens, one of his clan mates will approach, hesitant but sure of themselves, and nudge him or call out to pull him from his trance. Then they offer some words of comfort, and it's not uncommon for them to even give him a pat on the arm or a hug. Crayon even offers a flower on occasion. When they do, he'll offer a small smile in return, give an appreciative nod, and resume his patrol. Yes, Agony is a dragon. It's hard to remember, but he is.
