Rot is the janitor of Asphodel Foundation. Every day, she runs up and down in the foundation campus and keeps the large buildings clean. Occasionally she has other odd jobs like tending the living alchemy creations, giving direction to the visitors, or listening to Victor’s complaint about life.
Rot was a case of spontaneous resurrection most common in Shrieking Wilds, a dragon carcass gaining a second life without a necromancer or the person’s strong desire to go back. Her body is currently supported by the wide array of plants and fungi infection. The symbiolent provides Nature magic to keep her functioning, and she now has to eat and digest nutrients to supply them.
Tracing back on Rot’s origin leads to a pack that had migrated away from Viridian Labyrinth. She was a member who had fallen during an unsuccessful hunt. Instead of becoming the hunted, she was stuck in a ditch, available only to the plants until they reignited her life force.
Rot has little memory of her past life, even her current first name is her own picking. Her attempts of reintegrate back to Mirror packs were rejected due to her occasional lapses of short term memory. She wandered around and lived by her own until Etaoin picked her up and gave her a place to stay. Overall she is satisfied with her new life in Asphodel Foundation.
