Novis is the clan's daytime sentinel. Originally he kept watch at all hours but eventually Aurora arrived and they were able to split the responsibility between a day and a night shift. He keeps a careful watch over the clan's territory from atop the lair and is the first to detect any potential danger. He's aided in this mission by his breed's naturally keen sense of smell. He greets visitors at the lair entrance, assessing them with a long glance and a sniff, to gauge whether they are friend or foe.
