THE ELEGANT WARRIOR

Amina de Cieux is one of the leaders and trainers of warriors within Facieux. She is one of the clan’s most prominent members due to her heritage and her physical abilities. Her partner is the boisterous Patois. Together the two have helped Facieux reach higher status and kept the clan’s coffers overflowing.

Though known primarily for her physical strength, Amina is especially beautiful as well. Unlike Mismerte, who shares her lineage, Amina downplays her allure. She most often has a wry, knowing smile at hand and favors practical clothing. She dislikes putting on airs. She knows that the best way to command respect from her trainees is to respect them.

Amina is the dragon that convinced Bloom to allow some drakes to participate in combat arts. Because of this she is especially protective of her drake charges, though none more so than Patois himself. She thinks of the younger drake as a brother (far more so than Mismerte) and will launch into frenzied attacks if he is endangered. The two make a frightening pair in battle, complimenting each other and compensating for any weaknesses.

Formally, Amina supports the clan matriarch without hesitation. Only Patois and his twin brother, Damianos Katki, know of her true feelings toward the clan leader. Were she to desire it, she could possibly overtake Bloom and reign over Facieux herself, as many of Amina’s trainees remain loyal to foremost to her. Warriors and fighters are allowed far greater independence than most other clan members, after all, and by nature of their job far more tightly knit.

Whether a coup d’etat is truly brewing is known only to Amina.

____Most of my dragons are available for roleplaying. You can check their status under the ‘Roleplay’ section on the left column. Locked means they are unavailable currently because of lore purposes but will be available in the future. Retired means I no longer roleplay with them. Unavailable means I do not do any roleplaying with them.

____My approach to roleplay is that we are co-creating a story. As a professional writer I am rather long-winded. I prefer to roleplay as if writing short chapters to each other. When I roleplay I prefer to have some sort of plot, however vague, in mind and to have a beginning, middle arc, and end to the RP. I enjoy roleplaying with the dragons-as-dragons or humanoid dragons (whether they are dragons who have shifted into human form or simply human versions of themselves). I adore genres across the board, but I especially like adventure and drama.

_RELATIONSHIPS_

____Bloom: When Amina was born Bloom was pleased at her beautiful appearance, and her approval only grew when the drakaina displayed physical prowess. Bloom speaks fondly of Amina to other dragons. Amina largely respects Bloom and follows her direction, though she voices dissent concerning drakes’ roles within combat. Even so, Bloom granted her the surname ‘de Cieux’ to convey how important Amina is to the clan.

____Sanguine: Amina’s relationship with her sire is cordial. She views him as an extension of Bloom. Unlike other dragons in the clan, she never approaches Sanguine for comfort or advice. Most dragons, even within Facieux, do not realize the two dragons are related, as Amina looks nothing like Sanguine.

____Mismerte: Though not nest mates, Amina and Mismerte share parental dragons. The siblings do not get along well with each other and mostly ignore each other’s existence. This is made a bit difficult due to their resemblance to one another. Amina is aware that Mismerte desperately wanted to become a warrior, but she refused to advocate for his place in the coliseum as she did with Patois. Mismerte’s resentment toward her has not diminished over the years.
