For her first trip away, Truffle visited the Darkhaven Clan over in Lightning. She was excited, but a bit nervous. Luckily, they were a little strange, but mostly friendly. Truffle quickly fit in and became good friends with the zany dresser Ornithopter. When it was time to go home, it was with mixed feelings that Truffle headed home. She'd always be welcome at the Darkhaven Lair. Her children would be well raised in the raucous hatchery, and she couldn't wait to be off on her next adventure.

Truffle's second trip took her to a still-young clan in Lightning. The clan, in its struggles to establish greater territory and claim more wealth, squabbled often and truly peaceful moments were few and far between. Still, spirits were always high and Truffle was never made to feel unwelcome. She made a fast friend in Seafoam, another relative newcomer to the lair, and the pair became inseparable. By the end of their time together, Seafoam was sad to see Truffle go and sent one of his bows along for her to remember him by. If she ever feels lonely, she need only touch the bow Seafoam gave her and remember her good friend.

Shortly after Startrail arrived, a second traveller arrived. She was greeted by Yelena but was then taken to Eunji due to the fact that the high council currently had their hands full with a building project. Yelena apologized, feeling embarrassed that the clan seemed somewhat chaotic, but Truffle dismissed it quickly and allowed herself to be led around by Eunji. At first she had found Eunji intimidating, but she quickly realized that there was nothing to be afraid of when she found out Eunji was excited to see a traveller from her home! The two bonded immediately and she was allowed to stay with the leader, causing the entire clan to suddenly respect her. She was treated like a princess during her time there and enjoyed the company of the odd and entertaining members of this clan. After her clutch was hatched, she told them she had to go. Eunji herself felt somewhat heartbroken as she had grown attached, and offered Truffle a permanent place in the clan, but she politely declined. The next day she bid her goodbyes and left.

Dear Diary,

On my first day in this Wind Clan, I was greeted by one of the leaders named Crabapple. He is pretty handsome. My home clanmate, Startrail, had just finished his stay at this very clan! I can't believe how windy it is here, but I guess that makes sense, being at the Windy Plateau. I met Startrail's children; his son has bonded with the Lesser Wisp familiar that his father spent his days with on his stay.

A bright Imperial named WildflowerDusk has been keeping me company and we have become close in our short time together. I also have made another new friend, a Charcoal Spangyroo, who makes sure I am safe from sudden strong gusts. It has been somewhat hectic, with a new festival and a current battle of different Flights, but everyone has still made time to make me feel at home.

WildflowerDusk let me name our two small hatchlings, who peeped out of their shell the day before my departure home. I decided to name my bright boy, Abutilon, after the flower. And the girl will be named DahliaDuet.

Zhao, one of the most quiet members of the clan, wrote me a haiku on my last day!

"Flowers bloom brightly
and wind brushes fair petals;
True art: Wildflowers."

A wonderful end to my stay. I must return home soon, I had fun here but it will be good to get back to my own clanmembers. Though I must admit I'll miss that warm wind and new friends.

The visit to the Foxfyre Pack

Truffle's next visit was to the Mushroom filled lair of the Foxfyre pack. They were an odd bunch; with many small internal groups such as the Godling acclaimers, the true Shadow lovers, and many others. Honestly they would welcome anyone willing to be useful. The packs main concern was spreading themselves far and wide, as such they frequently welcomed travelers like Truffle.

Buchanan was the son of one such traveler, a Mirror named Pan. He sympathized with Truffles desire and agreed to help her have a nest. Their efforts yielded two eggs, which hatched a male Fae and a female Mirror. They named the children Shadow and Fubuki.

Though her time with the Pack was short, Truffle greatly enjoyed her time there. Well except for all the mushroom jokes thrown her way. She felt at home there with the pack of ill fit pieces, but it was time to leave.

Truffle was eager to visit the next lair, a clan located midst crooked branches and strangely glowing fungi in the Wispwillow Grove. Startrail, a friend from her home clan, had spoken highly of this very clan, which he had vistied twice before. The clan was in full buzz when she arrived due to the upcoming Trickmurk Circus, but she was greeted warmly nonetheless, the clan seemed accustomed to strange dragons staying with them now.

The rambunctious Nocturne, Prometheus, came to her on the second day of her stay, and talked to her excitedly about the preparations for the circus, and she eventually agreed to help out with the decorations, she was amused by Prometheus' flitting about, and though she fairly enjoyed helping, she quickly became tired, she stubbornly blamed it on the long travel. As she went to relax for a bit, she bumped into the Guardian, Sethos. He talked with a calm and soothing voice and he was definitely a sight for sore eyes, she felt drawn to him in some way. They ended up having a nest with three eggs.

Days flew by, and soon she was ready to pack up her things and head on, but not before the nest had hatched. When it finally did hatch, out came one female Guardian and two Fae, a male and female. She named them Gavinia, Aximilo and Voipina. When she had said her farewells, she took to the sky, and flew towards her next destination.

It was surprising to have Truffle back so soon, but the pack was just happy to welcome her back. Breeding again with Pan, Truffle had three children. One of them, a mirror named Merill, was lucky enough to be born with her fathers butterfly wings. Rafael was the other mirror born from the clutch, he was blessed by the Shadowbinder with double Shadow coloring. The last was a fae named Galena who's wispy coloration helped blend in with the mists of the Tangled Woods. The visit was short but it was an extremely pleasant one.
