Sapphire
Clan Shaman
Head Healer and Spellcaster Sapphire was one of the earliest members the clan, right after Brimstone and Druxia. She'd found the duo pitifully inadequate in the art of magics, and with their approval, settled down into the role of resident matron and spellcaster. She's the one to always patch up Druxia's wounds, either on the battlefield or otherwise, and there's hardly another that the matriarch trusts more as her advisor and closest friend. Sapphire's also a powerful mage when occasion calls for it, which is probably why everyone tries not to reach the end of her (fortunately) long patience. She doesn't have a permanent mate, not that she needs one, she has enough to do juggling Magonia's apprenticeship and playing nurse to all those dragons in the lair who just keep getting themselves into trouble. She's lost count of the times some little one had come running to "Aunt Saffy" because they had a "boo-boo" from playing too rough. She doesn't even know why she decided to try having a one-nest-stand clutch of her own. Or three. Rest assured that her little ones were no different from the rest. Sapphire's most precious possession is her necklace, which, for all it's plainness, seems to hold something special with her. She's never seen without it, and most of the dragons in the Sacred Tide clan guess it has to do with her history. She's never told anyone, though, and probably never will. |
