"Fascinating!"
A good engineer, and only moderately insane. Song thought that was a bargain. Astaroth is constantly tinkering with various bits of machinery and building new contraptions, only a few of which become sentient and/or malevolent. Will engineer new limbs for any dragon who has lost theirs, and sometimes makes mechanical accoutrements for even those whose limbs are fully intact. Madly in love with his mate, Lilith, to the terror and confusion of all around him.

Despite his somewhat dubious nature, most dragons trust his works and are glad to accept bionic parts from him. His constant, unprompted reassurances that said parts will not develop minds of their own and turn against their users is less comforting than he means it to be, however--particularly considering the presence of his redbolt construct and mechanical beetle. He is often seen "arguing" with them despite ostensibly controlling them. (The redbolt construct in particular should have no will of its own and should simply act on the user's will. This suggests that either his has developed sentience or he is constantly at odds with himself. Opinions vary as to which option is more likely, and more disturbing.)

That said, none of his creations for others have yet shown any undue intelligence. Yet. 		arcanev4.png
