Born a Mirror, and a strange one at that, Snapdragon loved nature and everything about it. He hatched in the grove all alone and never knew who his parents were or if he had any siblings. It was the Gladekeeper that gave him direction in his dreams and he followed them and considered her his mother that he never had. One day while exploring the world he now lived in and called home, even though it wasn't truly his and he was sort of living in the wilds without the clan that resided here knowing about him, he came across some ruins and a cave.

Being the curious little dragon that he was, went in and started exploring. He thought he might try and call this cave home and settle down for a while. He came across a mysterious fountain that was encrusted with gems and stones of all colors. The same ones that seemed to line the walls and floor of the cave. The water in the fountain looked so refreshing he just had to have a drink. He had taken only a sip when he had heard voices and the foot falls of two dragons approaching his location. Afraid he'd be found out, he ran and hid just as his transformation took effect. He was no longer a mirror but a handsome pearlcatcher.

He watched as the two looked around and as the Fae drank the water. To his surprise she transformed like he did and into the same species. He was quickly found by the former fae and was brought back to their home and made a member of the clan and mate to the former Fae. He also was to learn from the king how to rule the clan and his duties for he learned that Tulip was the princess and future queen of the clan.
