Quote:
Belladona slithers down from the trees that loom above, casting a soft-lipped smile down at Meadow. Her green scales shimmered in the dark as if they had their own illuminated charm, and her eyes stared deeply into Meadow's for a moment before giving a soft nod. In spite of their common lineage, the wildlife and plants around her seemed to dislike the spiral's presence. The night was silent all at once; not a single insect sang out when just moments before they had been ablaze with life.

"This is a lovely little garden you have,"
Belladona cooed softly, her voice surprisingly sharp in contrast to her lithe form and soft green scales. "The Glademother must truly have given good graces onto you. Here, let me give you a gift so that your garden can be just a small bit larger.."

The spirals tail lashed out and struck the ground, splitting it slightly. The grass beneath her turned deep purple before shriveling up, and from their corpses bloomed a brilliant array of new foliage. Among the familiar green were glowing purple leaves and flower bulbs that looked strangely like irradiated pink bubbles and glowing mushrooms that were common in the Shadowlands. These new plants gave off a delicious scent that twirled up in the air along with its pollen, and Belladona's claws gently ran across the petals. The touch wasn't too unlike a mother stroking her child's cheek.

As the strange spiral slithered back into the branches and out of sight, a strange feeling overtook the glade. The plants nearest the small, new patch seemed to tilt away from it, and although the animal's cries slowly began to fill the night air once more, they all took care to stay a fair distance.
Quote:
Belladona slithered down into the lower branches of the large, flourishing trees around Monolith, a soft smile on her black lips. For a moment, she simply stared, tilting her head ever so slightly as she examined the large imperial's lovely green scales.

"I bring you gifts," she cooed after a moment, voice ringing out like a breeze among the leaves. "A peace between the Shadowbinder and the Gladekeeper, if only for this moment."

Her tail lashed towards the ground, creating a great fissure on impact that killed all of the surrounding plants. But as they died, a new bounty bloomed up around them, filling the once grassy patch with luminescent, sweet-smelling wolfsbane that surrounded the imperials feet. Belladona smiled down at her work for a moment before slithering back up into the branches and out of sight.
Quote:
Belladona hissed with delight, gently wiggling her slender body between the many shrooms.

"You're blessings are much appreciated..." she cooed softly, seeming caught up in her own joy.

As she nestled up to her newest plants, her tail flicked aimlessly. It seemed innocent enough, but when it struck the ground it did so with a fierceness, and a great rumbling filled the air and shook the very earth beneath them.

What happened next was something unheard of; slowly, pushing upwards from the soil, stone statues emerged. There were hundreds, and they were all around, all facing the strange visitor who had gifted the small bundle of mushrooms. It was eerily still after they arose, and there was a strange sensation that prickled down the visiting dragons back. It felt as if... each statue were gazing at them with piercing, unyielding eyes, trapped forever in stone casing as they stared at their new owner.
