coatlicue || temple cat ||

Cats are not too common in Dragonhome, so it is not known for sure how many of them are living there. Sure, two of them accompany the clan, but they have better things to do than to evaluate on the amount of Temple Cats in this region. Like taking a bath in the sunlight, hunting other smaller animals, climbing up mountains or trees that everyone would judge as to high for them or simply ruffling the other cat's fur. Coatlicue for sure enjoys her life like this and has no worries whatsoever. Sometimes she gets too curious and tries to explore some of the caves in the Cairnstone Rest by her own, but Tezcatlipoca always notices her absence before anything can go too wrong. Coatlicue can get a bit angry about that most of the times, but she soon recognizes it's for her own good. Other than that, both of the cats are usually really relaxed when around the clan, but they like to hunt each other trough the caves and tunnels and more than once have they ruined another dragon's result of a hard day of work. But of course, nobody can stay mad at these two for too long and they know this quite well. Cats always got a mind of their own and freedom is one of the things they surely don't want to miss.

As a Temple Cat, Coatlicue leads a very stressless life and in comparison to Tezcatlipoca she is more patient and less demanding of other dragons, but that for sure that does not mean she isn't able to show her fangs or claws from time to time if it becomes too much for her. After all, she is not a great talker to word her dislike about certain actions. Actually, she doesn't really talk at all - she usually just meows, purrs or hisses depending on the situation. No one really know if she has been like that for her whole life already, but when she arrived at the clan's territory with Tez, obviously demanding some fish, no one was able to resist the cute eyes of her and this is how the both of them became part of the clan. Are they useful? Well, not necessarily, but that does not mean they aren't loved or appreciated by their fellow dragons. After a long day of work, they can for sure brighten up a day by just wanting to be petted and then purring loudly if they get what they desired. Really, Coatlicue enjoys that the most about being part of this clan and she would not change anything about her position at all. No hard work, being able to enjoy the good life. As a sign of appreciation, she sometimes leaves dead snakes - or Serthises - in front of Ladon's sleeping chamber and he is certainly not the only one who is surprised by this in the morning.
