Personality

Something about Yuu conveys a solid, direct energy, and is carried with him in his endeavors. A very down-to-earth dragon who knows his goals, but also holds to his dreams. While Yuu is very much a Snapper, he possesses a particular masculine elegance despite his seemingly bulky and inmaneuverable exterior. Sophisticated and trustworthy, Yuu provides a certain stability to everyone he calls his friend, as his earthiness is unassuming yet empowering.

A very friendly and approachable Snapper, Yuu is genuine in sincere in everything he does. Obligations and promises mean very much to him, and any promise he makes he will not break- but he doesn't give them out lightly. Yuu has a keen sense of responsibility and duty, and is hardworking and industrious.

Yuu's most values virtue is dependability. He is indefinitely the most reliable and supportive dragon you can have by your side.

Relations

Nocti is Yuu's one and only mate. Their history goes a long way back, and they've been through practically everything together, banding before they joined the clan. They are inseparable soul mates, both best friends and lovers. Sharing similar values, it was like they were bound for each other, unable to imagine a life without the other.

Like Nocti, Yuu is both respected and liked in the clan. While he allows their reverence, he insists on being treated as their equal. Yuu also takes part in welcoming newcomers, assisting and stepping in both when Nocti isn't around, and when she is. Most see Yuu as the supportive father-figure or the older-brother. Being a home-body and very family orientated, he treats all of the clan like kin.

Yuu stretched, meticulously making sure every single muscle was properly awake. The sun was dazzling as always, a light breeze playing across the Windswept Plateau. Today felt like a day where anything could happe-

The snapper's thoughts were interrupted when he was barreled into by a fluffy pile of seafoam fur. If he wasn't awake earlier, he certainly was now!

"Oh my gosh, I am so, so sorry!" The pile of fur talked!

Flailing about before finally gaining his bearings, Yuu realized that the pile of fur wasn't a pile at all. The pile of fur, was, in fact, a she, with bright green eyes and a patterned coat of seafoam, emerald, and jade.

The tundra was apologizing over and over again, evidently distressed about the predicament she had caused.

It was adorable, to be honest.

"Ah, it's fine! I can surely take more than just a little bump!" Well, he'd actually been barreled over, but he didn't feel the need to bring that up. He chuckled. "Well then! How about we tidy ourselves up and properly introduce ourselves to each other?"

Over a couple potash peaches, the duo slowly began to familiarize themselves with each other, and found they had many things in common. For one, they were both wandering about looking for a place to call home. They also happened be drawn to Wind Flight, despite being of other birth origins.

While the Tundra, whom Yuu later learned to be named 'Noctilucence', had been rather shy at first, the two were soon chatting to each other easily, trading stories and discussing wacky family members. Even a debate upon the usefulness of Perfect Skipping Stones came up, as well as whether Dayglo Threshes were more nutritious than the Bluelipped varieties.

They soon talked the day away, and both decided to settle in for the night.

The next day, it was a kind of mutual and unspoken settlement when they both went off, together, to find other dragons like themselves.

And it was inevitable that they soon became inseparable, unable to imagine a life without the other, and never would.
