Biography

| Starsword :: Knight Errant - she/her

Starsword joined the Clan rather unexpectedly, suddenly padding out of an icestorm one day. She remains mysterious as when she arrived, despite it now having been more than a few years, but she has formed a bond with Nyx, and the rest of the Clan has decided that if the strange Tundra is alright by the head warrior, she is acceptable to the rest- even if many believe her name to not truly be hers, but of the blade upon her side. She is a friendly enough Tundra, though she seems content to be alone. Rather than assisting much with the Keep, she tends to watch over it with a critical eye, contributing little other than support in battle.

Alabaster and the Tundra do not get along. No one is quite sure why, but they refuse to be in the same room for longer than a few minutes, lest they both begin to bare their teeth and growl until one backs down and leaves. Her true nature and his position as the Icewarden's contact among the clan clash, and thus they are kept apart for everyone's good. She is far older than he, though she finds his gifted talents threatening, and he finds her a threat for the inverse reason.

Unbeknownst to the Keep she now dwells within, Starsword is a powerful spirit known in the Icefields as a Wraith. Her true name is little more than a murmur of a chilly breeze through ice laden and frosted fur, and she flies on the cold winds through the Icefields. She has settled in the Keep out of curiosity for the dragons that lie within, and it is her first experience actually staying with other 'dragons'. She's gotten fairly fond of her impromptu clan and will fight tooth and sword to defend it, even if she doesn't see the value in say, helping hunt for it. She doesn't need to eat, so why should she?

On the darkest and coldest winter nights, when the fog is thick and pooling in the valleys and the wind too chilled for any non-Ice dragons to venture out, it is said that Starsword can be found sitting higher up on the peaks, strange glows and sigils alight in her fur. No one can prove this, however, and Starsword only gives a grinning look to any who ask. Over time, the rumors have died, as she will not confirm anything, and some things are better left unknown.
