Wisteria was born as an heir to the long-dead former leader, Willow, as a result of a ritual performed by his mother, a young witch and necromancer. Although his half-sister was ruling at the time, Wisteria was endowed with the determination and grit of a true Scorpio and equal birth right to the throne, and as he came of age, he plotted to overthrow her. However, choosing to go the passive aggressive route, he murdered his sister using the magic given to him by his mother, leaving her without a mark, and framed her death as a suicide. His sister had been known to have an unstable and depressive temperament, so it was easy for him to fool the clan. Being her kin, he was given the responsibility of her burial, but rather than honoring her death, he devoured her corpse, believing that it would allow him to absorb her power.
