Erebus brings darkness, it envelopes wherever he steps. It's as if the shadows lean and bend over to cover him. He is Nyx's consort, and, although he doesn't fear her, believes he is a being underneath her, which seems to please her enough.

Erebus sometimes passes into the world 'between Earth and Hades', which was named after him, spreading his darkness with him as he walks. Most living, or semi-living, things part out of his way, probably afraid the darkness around him would injure them, which he honestly had no idea about because no one went near him. Although sometimes, when he is roaming the Earthen world, plants appear to be dead if he has stepped on them, leaving a footstep trail of shriveled plants in his wake if he were to tread in them.

Occasionally he wonders if people or gods really fear him, for he did have a brooding and intimidating outlook, even if he didn't try. He believes he tried to make himself seem like a powerful, yet kind, god, but most people probably only see the power part.

Underneath all the brooding looks and shadows leaning towards him, he truly is a good person, even if others don't see that.
