Brief History: The first to hatch from her mother's clutch of five, Xiuhcoatl was a regal lady from the start. Protective of her siblings from the egg, she grew into her Guardian personality fast. By the time she had reached adolescence, Xiuhcoatl had ventured out on her own in search of something to take care of.

Not finding it, she returned to the Emberhearth, and learned of her ancestor, the Dragoon. Fierce and mighty as the flames he commanded, and as steady as a mountain, her ancestor had founded one of the greatest clans the Emberhearth had ever seen. But since the progenitor's untimely demise, long before Xiuhcoatl's birth, the Ember Song had fallen into disrepair. Its members were scattered all over the land, their righteous blood diluted with peace and riddled with conspirators.

Xiuhcoatl found her calling, and together with her Fae mate Ichtari, she refounded the Ember Song Clan, and gave birth to two eggs from her mate. The cubs grew and went to join other clans, and she dared not stop them for she too had done just that. Then came along another Fae pup, a small and dainty Light, and Xiuhcoatl and Ichtari adopted the pup as their own.
