She didn't always look like this, Ceina prided the fact that she was beautiful, and took special care to make sure to keep so, but an unfortunate tragedy left her looking less then pleasant. On one particular occasion through The Scarred Wasteland, that the clan doesn't speak of, Ceina went about her usual task caving for gemstones and the like. It is believed by the clan that one of the treasures she found was contaminated by some unspeakable presence, and it took much work from any and all of the clan members with healing abilities to keep the condition that came from it from causing her further harm. She requires daily treatments to keep her condition from spreading, and occasional additional treatments if it begins to cause her pain. Although this tragedy has caused a horrible transition in her life, she has not lost her passion for stones, and continues to collect and polish them for sale in her stall. In addition to cutting and selling gemstones, she now works with Vezoki as a horror attraction for the circus, and is content with her 'new' life. Ceina shares her hobby with Mythire and the two frequently enjoy chats about various stones, crystals, and their varied appearances. The fae enjoys joining Ceina on her adventures for stones so that he can collect crystals and assist her in obtaining stones she otherwise would be unable to reach. His companionship allows Alzir a sigh of relief that she no longer travels alone- as she refused other clan members from joining her out of remorse for what happened.
