Des
Beast Keeper

Des is a caring and loyal, and as opposed to his taciturn mate Rhaige, is boisterous, almost childish at times. Although he gets along well with other dragons, Des would rather spend his time among familiars or the local fauna and is a self proclaimed 'animal person'. Therefore he takes care of the familiars for the clan, and acts as a 'beastkeeper' for the fair. Des and Cerosing go way back, even before Cero decided to join Xaoc in their travels. He would frequently obtain herbal remedies for the creatures he cared for. Along with his love of animals is his passion for geology.... he mostly just collects the shiny rocks and throws the flat ones. Although he can be quite a silly dragon, he is still the patriarch of clan Xaoc and will act accordingly when necessary, even if many in the clan tend to forget that fact. He tends to form bonds to specific individuals, both dragon and beast, and his loyalty lies with them. More specifically, Des' mate Rhaige, and his familiar, a bluefin charger which he has lovingly nicknamed 'Fineas'
