Biography

Calcifer personality contains graphic material. A copy will be provided upon request. He is not nice, we'll just say that.

Calcifer was born as a wolf, so take that into account.

The eye on his left side is a charred hole, a small dollop of pink flesh at the bottom the only evidence that there was ever an eye there. The horn on the same side is burned as well. His ear is mostly gone, but a stump. The hole is long since been burned and healed closed, making him deaf and blind on one side. If he is approached on this side he can become startled and attack. His nostrils can sometimes be seen to be cracked from drying heat. Signs of exposure to heat.

The first thing you notice about this brute is how tall he is. His height does not correspond to his weight, rather tipping to be taller. Also, when you are first exposed to him, you are wafted the scents of burning flesh, burning hair and smoke. This lingers around him like a miasma, a personal terrible perfume.

His cranium is squarely built, tapering into a long muzzle. His ear is high on his head, a lone radar dish setting off the balance of his features. Two horns curl back from behind his ears in the shape of sickles, iridescing red in the light. His neck is long and elegant, smooth fur running easily along it where it is not scarred. His neck is longer than a normal Wolfs, splotched with glossy black scales. His hips are slightly narrower, but only slightly. His back is bowed, capped as it is with marhcing spines but he is not submissive.

Perched behind his shoulders are two wide scaly wings. They are black with edges as grey as his pelt, iridescing in red as well. His legs are long, even for his build. He treads around on stilts of Porcelain, long and elegant, enviable by any Ubeli wolf. His toes are long and skinny without fur, looking otherworldly. The middle two of the front pair are mysteriously missing, lending a hand to his even more otherworldly appearance. From a third of the way down to his paws scales dominate his flesh in a glossy black. His tail is long and ends in a viperation.

His fur, where it has not been burnt off, is an ashy white, tempered away from porcelain by a sheen of grey. This man has a tall, bristly mane of charcoal that forms just behind his eyes, and rises in a wave until it fizzles out in his shoulders. It lives on, though, in a stripe that runs down his back and ends at his tail, capping it. His ear, the surviving one, is rimmed in charcoal, along with the fur on his limbs, lending his fur a slightly singed, crisped quality. This coupled with his scent, is added to by the layer of ash that is always lingering in his fur. All is silky excepting the charcoal, which is rough as sand. It sheds a dandruff of ash as his fiery core burns it.

This brute is covered in scars. The majority are burns, but there are a few scratches in there, almost for good measure. But the scar on his face is the one that stands out the most. It eats his left side, running laterally along his eye socket and eating his ear, fizzling out in his neck or jaw bone fur. It ate away a good portion of both lips, revealing teeth yellowed with heat and exposure. His left fang is cracked, and it pains him occasionally.
This creature is one born of flames, and will see his death in them.
