"Two months ago, I lost my dear brother Rydian... I can still remember that day, when we were torn apart at the auction block..."

Rydian overheard his sister Tallah croning on again to two dragons Rydian didn't recognize. New recruits to Strudel's clan. This was the third time this week Tallah had decided to trick the newbies with her tales. While Rydian was glad his sister was making new friends in the clan, Jinxer and Jinxed were starting to rub off on Tallah in a very irritating manner.

"TALLAH, STOP TELLING PEOPLE I'M DEAD! WE WEREN'T EVEN SEPARATED!" Rydian yelled loud enough to be heard from above, straining his voice in the process.

Tallah faked a sob. "I swear, sometimes I can still hear his voice... Calling out to me... Begging me to save him~"

Rydian rolled his eyes, and continued on to the bakery. The newbies would have figured it out by now, anyway.
