Biography
In Native American, the name Ayita means - First to dance (Cherokee)
Official Subspecies: Gilded Mirror
Primary Range: Silver-->Charcoal/Ripple
Secondary Range: Gold--->Sunshine/Current
Tertiary Range: Gold--->Sunshine/Underbelly
Breed: Mirror
While many subspecies of the Light Flight find their fates intertwined with either the Lightweaver or the Hewn City, Gilded Mirrors are affiliated with no faction in particular. They are not the remnants of a long-forgotten civilization, nor fervent worshippers of Light. Rather they live true to their nature as Mirror dragons, hunting among the scented pine boughs, light-dappled fields, and spangled shores of the Lightweaver's domain in packs of up to thirty individuals. As such, they are neither collectors of artifacts, nor scrolls, nor books. However, any Light dragon fortunate enough to encounter a group of these quiet, thoughtful (one might even say reflective) Mirrors would be remiss if she did not take the opportunity to delve into the vast store of collected knowledge these nomadic hunters have gathered over their long travels. For Gilded Mirrors are hunters, but they are also scholars, and though they often ruminate in silence, their collective memory for events, happenings, and history is generally grand. Their glimmering hides symbolize nebulous thought and the value of truth-- a thing more important even than gold and silver.
Although individuals are almost entirely born of the Light Flight, some Gilded mirrors are conceived of serendipity, on the outskirts of the Sunbeam ruins in lands bordering the Shifting Expanse, the Sea of a Thousand Currents, or the Tangled Wood. Although their elemental affinity may vary, Gilded Mirrors as a subspecies are insular. Unlike most mirrors, they rarely leave the pack of their birth, and when they do, they most often break off in pairs or in groups of four or five.
