Biography
A spiral clutching a map and a letter in both claws comes barreling into the lair. A small paper tag flutters from a string tied around a back foot.
"Did I find it?" he asks, glancing rapidly from the map to the lair and dragons around him. "The dragons of the Summer Squalls said this might be a good place for me? Oh! They sent a letter for you all!" He hands over the paper.
Okay. MERRY CHRISTMAS! This is Ferrovax, affectionately known as Peanut Butter Derg (PBD for short). He's been hanging around the place, training to be a healer mage and, even though he was supposed to be a birthday present, we both got a little impatient. So here he is!
There are no limits on what you can do with him. Keep him, train him, sell him, send him to Noodledad if you really want, just enjoy him. I wrote up a little backstory mixed with some minor personality, but of course feel free to change anything or everything you like about him. (Also, I tried for an hour to get the quick facts centered the way I wanted, and couldn't do it, so just ignore the ghost text down there. It's not important....)

'His name is Ferrovax, although, he doesn't seem to be particularly attached to it. Or really to anything else about himself. He wandered in one day and asked to be trained as a mage. Imona was happy to oblige him. He isn't totally ready, but I think you'll find him very helpful as a healer. Assuming you can get him to pay attention long enough.
The training program we've been using calls for 105 intelligence, 86 quickness, 7 defense, and 7 mind without a tincture. Sorry we couldn't quite finish.

He blew into Tur na Seideain as the battle between autumn and winter began. A few of the Summer Squalls blamed the spiral, with the disposition as sunny as his Light Flight eyes, for the unseasonably warm weather that followed. Whatever, the reason, no one seemed to mind having him around. He was friendly and a hard worker and soon he started following the coli groups out to fight. He found a natural affinity for magic.
However, those who blow into Tur na Seideain on the wings of the wind often blow out just as easily. He left with a cheerful wave and a promise to keep in touch. But no one was terribly sad to see him go. They had, after all, given him a map to the lair of another Wind clan where he could at least visit for a time. |
