Aquarius

"How far are the stars? Depends on who you ask. We all have a different way of perceiving things..."

Once upon a time, a star fell from the sky.

She fell with a gentleness that seemed more floating than falling. Sparkles trailed in her wake, briefly lighting up the night before fading away. Dragons scramble to see the comet glide through the air, heading straight for the Starwind Bay. A tremor ran through the earth as she plunged into the cold waters.

Stunned silence followed her landing, which should've turned any other dragon into a flattened pancake. But the Fae dragons of the Starfall Isles saw her cough and flounder in the waters, and rush to fish her out. She was unconscious when they reached her, and they brought her back to the Observatory to heal her.

When Aquarius woke, fathomless eyes bright and curious, she found herself surrounded by the researchers of Arcane. She did not know who she was or what she was, and anything she was asked, she answered with a soft, confused whine.

The Fae dragons of Arcane reared her as if she was one of her own. They taught her how to take care of herself, and of the magical arts. Aquarius was a fast learner, and when she was mature enough to be admitted for leave, she left the Observatory on an adventure of her own.

Aquarius understands that there are other fallen stars out there like her, but has never gone beyond the questions. She knows all the tales of dragons who've fallen from the sky, and has become very interested in them…

Aquarius is quiet and thoughtful, and prefers spending her time with books and runes instead of with other dragons. She loves mysteries and an ominous air hangs around her whenever she goes. Aquarius doesn't like being disturbed, especially when she's reading or rune scribing. However, when the need arises, she's more than happy to kick the rest of her clanmates into place. Or talk with them. You know, depending on the circumstances.

Fairly justified and protective, Aquarius is a bit of a perfectionist. She can not abide seeing something out of place and will go out of her way to fix it. A new nick in her door? She'll buy a new door. A plant slightly wilted? She'll bury it with revitalizing spells. A dragon trying to threaten her clan? The last dragon who did that is now a welcome mat at the front door.

Though Aquarius doesn't enjoy starting conversations and doesn't plan on doing it anytime soon, she really does care for those around her. She would rather die than to let harm befall them, as annoying as some (or most of them) are. Aquarius gets irritated easily and often takes it out on the first dragon she meets, but otherwise she's a fairly valuable member of the clan, if you enjoy having a moody, magic-lobbing murderess as your next-door neighbour.
