Machika

BACKSTORY:
Machika first encountered dragons of Clan Loki when she was out on one of her favorite passtimes, collecting flowers in the plains of the Zephyr Steppes. She and the clan members watched each other for a time, Machika remaining a certain distance away. Intrigued, the Skydancer among them, Ayden, began to approach her slowly. Machika kept her distance, smiling playfully. Sensing a game, Ayden began to mirror her movements until they progressed to playing a game of tag in and above the field, with the other two joining in. After a good while of this, they all touched back down, laughing. The clan members introduced themselves to her, she to them, smiling, and they asked where she’d come from. Machika answered only that she was alone. Without much else to say about it, Elsie, as the oldest member present, merely shrugged and invited her into the clan. The group later returned to the lair one dragon more. With little need for explanation, as always, the dragons of Clan Loki celebrated the arrival of their newest member.

PERSONALITY:
She may not be the brightest dragon in the clan, but Machika is certainly a lively one and always ready to play. She’s a simple and warm soul, infinitely curious and is content just to be surrounded by friends. If she’s upset about something, she has no problem letting it show, and, in the case of more practical problems, will often converse with clanmate after clanmate until she can find a solution to her predicament. She can be mischievous when the mood strikes her, pouncing on unsuspecting dragons until they’re compelled to chase her. Her favorite ‘victims’, besides Ayden, of course, are basically every dragon that won’t ignore her. That is, besides every other dragon who has a space between their shoulders big enough for her to curl up in. A hardy dragon, when Machika gets to playing, she will happliy engage in a little rough and tumble, often a favorite playmate of the clan brawlers, especially Noc and Ninko. Any injury she sustains during playtime is usually shrugged off as an accident and taken to Ayden, who gave up the first few times trying to tell her to be more careful. Aside from horseplay, she also enjoys sitting and collecting flowers and decorating her section of the lair--and sometimes her clanmates--with them.
