Lycidas is a shapeshifting beast. He gets this power from some kind of magical crystal that seems to have infected him.
He is the highest authority managing the Twilight Market.
He is a supreme spy, investigator, diplomat, and ambassador to other Clans thanks to these powers. He also counsels the leaders of the Fogforest Cliffs Clan on other matters that concern trading and alliances, regarding the fact that their members make up a good chunk of the local tradesmen and upkeeping on the island.

He likes to take tunnels to travel so he's come across Merrow on more than one occasion and they have become infected bros. He also seems to have taken to Murphy, the Clan's homesick herbologist.
