Pink Chalcedony 		There is something about the way that gemstones shimmer that Gemclaw can not get enough of. He hordes them, in fact. His abode is full of them; quartz and emeralds and sapphires, all reflecting light back in prisms of color. Many of them are carved into beautiful masterpieces, and many more are embedded in every piece of his furniture. It is strange, how something so beautiful can come from the dark, bland earth. Gemclaw hates the tunnels in the mines; he always feels trapped and yearning for the light. It is worth it. When he breaks through the grey stone or the red dirt and sees a tiny sparkle, hope flows through his body. It is as if the gemstones slowly peek out once he sets to work, letting him know that light can be found in the darkest places. They save him from the darkness of the mind, and he saves them from the darkness of the earth.

Gemclaw is an introvert. He is very quiet and does not like large gatherings. He is easily distracted by beautiful things, and his mind often wanders during conversations.

Relationships:

Gemclaw's best friend is Nakano, the clan jeweler. He provides her with his best findings, and in return she occasionally gifts him hand-crafted pieces.

Gemclaw is extremely shy, and so has not yet found a partner.

He had a short-lived relationship with Tenderheart, but her rambunctious personality pulled her away from his lifestyle.
