Andromalius
The Chameleon

His parents? Don't bother asking. He doesn’t care nor will he ever. All Andromalius remembers about his parents are that they are some of the worst parents he had ever known. They were horrible at hide and seek. Their sun was born with an unusual mix of magic. He was born with the dominant power of ice magic, but he got a little bit of lighting and earth in him as well. Not only that, but he spent half of his childhood traveling with his parents in the land of nature. Andromalius learned his skills there. He absorbed the nature magic like a starving dragon and began to change his colors. He could hide in anything. His parents could never find him. Nor did they know when he was listening. He had heard what they said about him. About how disappointed they were. With bitter anger in his heart, Andromalius fled from home in search of a new clan.

The search was not easy. He looked for months before he was able to find a place he could stay at for a while. Calling them his 'clan' was a bit of a stretch too. It was more of a place Andromalius stayed while he kept looking. He repaid the clan he was with by doing small task like cleaning and gathering food. His true skills were not those task. Yet he never knew what he was good at. Until he was asked if he wanted an offer, that was. Word of a color changing ice dragon spread pretty fast and Andromalius found himself running with what some would say the wrong crowd. To him, though, they were perfect. He wasn't stuck in one place, he was honored with his skills, and was trained to be an assassin. He was even given the gear for it. He wasn't a good assassin. Not at first. He got caught a few times when he got distracted, but he always got the job done. Even if it wasn't clean. The distraction? Well, Andromalius began to have an interest in jewelry. He cared about his image. Not for others, but for himself.

When able to change colors at will, one begins to change who they are. The nickname "Chameleon" became something he identified with, even if he didn't like it. Andromalius isn't the type of dragon to be cruel. As he aged, he realized his hate against his parents wasn't something he should have--but he had it anyway. The way they treated him and what they said about him hurt. Why would he give them forgiveness? The answer was that he wouldn't, but the assassin wanted to feel good about himself. He did so by wearing some nice pieces of jewelry and flowers. He felt pretty. That's all that mattered. Sadly, this wasn't welcomed in the "clan" he was part of. The guild kicked him out and Andromalius began his search for a new home once again. During his travels, he got an invitation to preview a clan. Curious, he left for the land of Fire. He used his ice powers to keep himself cool during his trip to the clan grounds, and upon arrival, he knew this was where he belonged. No one mocked him for what he wore. In fact, they were supportive and gentle. Despite being a clan full of assassins and killers and thieves, most of them were… nice?

Andromalius got to work the first day there and proved his worth to the clan. His skills with changing colors had benefited him greatly in earning respect. He only has to work on week days too. Most of the time, he has no job. He gets to lounge around the clan grounds and relax until he is needed. When he is, the clan lets him know. None of his jobs take too long to complete, so he has plenty of time to work on his image. When he does work, however, everyone gets out of his way. The kindness in his eyes and the smile on his lips disappears. He only has one job and that job is to kill however managed to make the clan leaders upset. There is really nothing else Andromalius needs to do. That's why he is in the clan. His skills are too valuable to the clan to let him slip through their fingers. While he is still too young and less skilled than the other assassins he is learning. His skills are improving with every mission. One day, he'll be a force to reckon with.
