They called her cursed and a monster, simply because her face bore the marks of an old fairy tale. She did not wanted to hate them, but they made it so easy. Esther did not wish to become the boogey man of the latest generation, despite her necromantic powers.

She roamed the lush wilderness of the nature domain, alone and bitter, because society rejected her, simply because of an old tale, that by all means could just as well be a work of fiction. The black bloom, they called her, the weed that strangles life out of flowers.

Had it not been for a courageous fire sorcerer and his guardian, that tried to discover the true root of the story, Esther would have no doubt been alone for the rest of her miserable life. Aiea and her charge were at first just curious, wanted to see if the tale had any truth ringing to it.

They found her, alone, mangly and wounded, defended her against the dragons of her own flight.

She was taken to the Empire, welcomed there with open arms and it was here, that her gentle nature was allowed to grow, was nurtured.

She was thankful, but never expected that love would come to it as well.

Falling for Aiea at first happened fast and hard, and much to her surprise, the other female was more than willing to let her in. After some time, she was part of the dynamic between Aiea and her mate, part of a trio.

It was hope that saved her, love that made her whole again.
