HISTORY OF GOLDMORE

"Show no weakness."

A ruthless dictatorship of the Light Region, the Goldmore Empire has spanned generations. Once simply monarchical leaders under the Lightweaver, corruption has spread throughout the years, darkening the name of Goldmore into a feared Empire that demands payment and submission from all weaker clans within the Light Region. Under the rule of the cold, callous, and merciless Queen Syphitis, all those deemed as weak will be crushed; even if the weak share her bloodlines.

The hierarchical nature of Goldmore reveres strength above all else. To fight is expected; to ignore all emotional compassion is expected; to obey is expected; and to go against that order is nothing more than a death sentence.

Jayce, as the youngest prince, destined to rule, was raised in this way. He was censored of his natural skydancer abilities, forced to train and prove himself again and again. He knew no other way of life.

That is, until he met a small refugee clan on the edge of the Light Region, led by the fierce and passionate mirror, Blueweeps...

Friend, family, mate... the relationship of Jayce and Blueweeps is complicated in blood, sweat, and tears.



Bluestone is Jayce's best friend within the Windways Clan; he owes her his life for bringing him in and helping him heal. While the boisterous skydancer and mysterious mirror may seem like an odd pair, they share a mutual understanding that cannot be broken. More often than not, Jayce is paired with her on patrol.




Jayce and Luka don't really share a relationship outside of their mutual determination and love for Marceline.






Jayce sees Marceline as a little sister and will do anything to ensure he makes up for ruining her childhood.




While they originally did not get along, Jayce has become very close with his half-sister Cassiopeia. Her nickname of "Starshine" comes from him.

FAMILIAR

Ramji, aka Jayce's trick of the light familiar, is his greatest companion. While originally belonging to Blueweeps, Ramji followed Jayce after the Moonshower Clan's final fall, determined to stay and watch over the heartbroken skydancer. He has remained loyal ever since.
