Sveta left the sunsoaked pillars of the Mirrorlight Promenade after her clan matriarch, Twilight, announced their alignment with a new yet promising clan on the Southern Icefield's border. Sveta's parents had always asserted that she would be exalted into the ranks of the Lightweaver, but a love of exploration took precedence over even Light's goddess. When a chance to explore the floes of the Ice flight's domain arose, Sveta didn't hesitate to take on the role of diplomat.

(But now that she's here, she now realizes it's very, very cold.)

Sveta acts as an ambassador between Clan Zmaj and her home clan. This title bestows her with the responsibility of notifying her home clan of what Clan Zmaj is up to, and especially its role in the protection of the Icefield border. Sorneith's glimpses into the world of the Southern Icefield has been strictly limited for decades, but recent globalization is slowly opening doors into it. Clan Zmaj's role in determining what passes or does not pass through the border make them a useful ally for trade opportunity.

However, Sveta doesn't limit herself to business. She takes the opportunity to teach the dragons here about life in the Light flight. Farther then, she encourages the clanmembers from other flights to speak on their own experiences in other clans. Sveta, once unbound from her home clan, became hungry for the chance to learn about the farther reaches of the world. She records each one of the clan's stories with an ever-present quill and scroll intently. Her curiosity now doesn't wane with each word, but grows.

The curiosity may have been overshadowed in the beginning. Sveta doesn't consider herself shy, but she began life here wary of leaving home to take the awfully political responsibility of being a representative for her clan. When she arrived, though, she took comfort in Danika's birth flight being her own, and especially in Mateja's utter disregard for politicizing. In fact, Mateja's coarse, upfront personality put her at ease. Ice clans, evidently, have "little patience for useless formalities," which happily prevents Sveta from being forced to put upon any semblance of knowing what exactly she's doing.

She and Kasimir are great friends, and keep each others' company so closely that many ask if her whiskers are somehow tied to his. Excluding Kasimir's absences for guard duty, it's rare to ever see the two apart! This leads to the clan's widespread certainty that she and Kasimir are mates, though neither of them have truly discussed it. (...Perhaps they should have before they had their daughters together.)
