Marona remembers the face of every dragon she comes across, and the stories that go with it. As a hatchling Marona showed talent for reading others, and as she grew older the young guardian devoted much of her time to studying in the art of divination. She is one of few to travel to the Hewn City. She refuses to speak of what she found there, only noting that what she discovered had opened her mind to realms far beyond the borders of the waking world. Shortly after her she packed up the belongings she cared for - a few small gifts from her family- and set out on The Search.

Marona's charges are the stories and dreams of others. Years later, she now carries books filled with the tales of everyone she has come across, items she protects with her life. The guardian is very particular about the books she writes in, spending weeks binding her own out of the finest materials she can find when the one she is writing in is near full.
As a dragon she has a strong sense of moral obligation, and believes that all will happen as it should to keep the elements in balance. While Marona may be reserved and enjoys talking in riddles and tongues, she is the one that most of the clan turns to when something is bothering them, and is the first to settle disputes between clanmates. She is one of the first to prepare for the holidays, and is arguably the most excited of the clan for celebrations.
